Aconteceu neste domingo (8), o MTV Europe Music Awards 2020, que premia e homenageia artistas que se destacaram no último ano em solo europeu e pelo mundo todo. O evento seguiu todas as normas impostas pela OMS, sendo filmado de vários lugares do mundo e com uma plateia virtual.

A artista com o maior número de indicações da edição foi Lady Gaga, com 7 no total. Seguida de BTS e Justin Bieber com 5 indicações cada. A edição deste ano ainda ganhou três categorias novas: “Melhor Live Virtual”, criada devido as lives surgidas esse ano graças à pandemia do Covid-19. As outras duas foram “Melhor Artista Latino” e “Vídeo para uma Causa“.
