A equipe da Billboard divulgou, como de costume, a sua lista com os 50 melhores álbuns do ano, lançados até o momento. Para a seleção, a revista não ranqueou os títulos, colocando os álbuns apenas em ordem alfabética. A lista apresenta títulos de diversos estilos, incluindo vários nomes da música Pop, como Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, BTS, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomes e muitos outro.
